This
site is dedicated in memory of Thomas P. Brogan, former Derry
Township Supervisor, who's dedication and effort made the
Derry Township ICDA possible.
Thomas
was a member of the Derry Township Board of Supervisors from
2000 to 2005, having served as Chairman in 2005. He was also
chairman of the Derry Township Municipal Authority, the regional
wastewater provider located in Hershey, PA.
Thomas also served as chairman of the Derry
Township General Authority, and the Derry Township Industrial
and Commercial Development Authority, the owner of the $90
million Giant Center in Hershey. He was also chairman of the
Derry Township Planning Commission.
Thomas received his B.A. in 1971 from Villanova
University, his M.B.A. in 1975 from the University of Vermont
and his J.D. degree in 1980 from Vermont Law School.
He was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's
Administrative, Public Utility Law and Municipal Law Sections.
Additionally, he was appointed to a one-year term as a member
of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Gaming Law Committee.
In 2006, he was selected by his peers for inclusion in The
Best Lawyers in America.
Thomas died on September 15, 2006 and is
survived by his wife Lynn and three children. |
